Prologue
It’s a radical thing to say: “You are a spiritual being.”
And yet—it’s true.
You are a spiritual being… having a physical experience.
But here’s the catch. Before you came here, a veil dropped.
The veil of forgetfulness.
It covers you before you’re born.
And so, when you arrive in this body, you don’t remember who you were.
You don’t remember why you came.
From that first breath—you’re vulnerable.
Dependent.
And even before that—still in the womb—you’re absorbing it all.
Your mother’s fears. Your father’s worries.
The atmosphere of the home.
It all seeps in.
And once you’re here? Your senses are wide open.
You see. You feel. You absorb.
Every single detail.
Earth is a lab created by the human condition.
It’s a school.
Built out of human imagination, human creativity, human fear.
It’s all here—the beauty, the unconscious patterns, the chaos, the pain.
If you’re lucky—you’re born to love.
You’re nurtured. You’re taught to live without shame, without guilt.
But most of us?
We get a different curriculum.
There’s no manual. No clear guide.
You stumble. You search.
You look for love in places it cannot be found.
And eventually—if you’re brave enough—
you realize the truth.
The love you’ve been chasing… was inside you all along.
And that brings me to my next guest.
She’s 71 years old.
And still—every morning—she rises with curiosity. With passion. With a deep love for life.
She is living proof that healing has no deadline. Growth has no expiration date.
She’s warm. She’s patient. She’s kind.
And her personality? It lights up the room.
Like so many women, her story begins in a family woven with both love and pain.
A tapestry of joy, stitched through with betrayal, violence, trauma.
And yet—she kept walking.
She kept learning.
She kept rising.
For the sake of her privacy, we kept her face and name anonymous, and we listen to her story of courage.
The only purpose of sharing her story is so that others who may be discouraged on the healing journey, may get the strength to continue.
She has given consent to record and release her story.
Before we begin, I want to offer a gentle but important warning. This episode contains sensitive themes that may bring up strong emotions.
